QXMEN caught up with club promoter Mitch Winn.
Hi Mitch. Can you tell us about club nights you run?
As a promoter I run several club nights at a variety of venues, the latest of which is Ted’s Place in West London with the return of one of my most successful club nights Paunchy. Paunchy’s an old faithful that has been on a break and has now returned due to demand. As the name suggests, there’s an emphasis on big bellies, and generally the bigger built or chunkier men. It was created as a home for those guys who didn’t feel they belonged in a hot sweaty nightclub with guys not the same size. Paunchy offers them a night where they can relax with no-attitude among other likeminded guys and their big party of admirers. BOLD, also at Ted’s Place, is the newest baby in our stable. This again came from customer demand at my other clubs. I was approached by a couple of regulars who were complaining there was nowhere that ran a club for guys into CMNM. It’s ok, I asked the same question: ‘What is CMNM?’ It stands for Clothed Male Naked Male and is a fetish/interest that is based around power play. Some guys find it hot to be ordered to strip, to be viewed, examined and played with by clothed men and the feeling of vulnerability it gives them. It’s surprising how many young hot fit guys are into this. And vice versa – some guys like the feeling of power they get from ordering another man to strip. Come To Daddy is our regular Thursday night at The Underground Club for bears, chubs, their admirers and a total mixture of men of all ages and sizes, and Butt Naked, our weekly Monday night naked party at The Underground Club. Not much else needs to be said about that one – the name speaks for itself! It’s not for the faint hearted!
Which nights prove most popular?
All the nights have their own characters and atmosphere. I run attitude-free clubs. The difference between the nights means that each has its own strong following so it would be hard to call any of them more popular than the other as I like to believe every customer has a good time at any night I run.
What sort of guys do your events attract?
In two words; attitude-free!
Have you turned down any proposals?
Not recently but form an orderly queue and I’m happy to listen.
With its vast range of fetish clubs you must have seen some ‘weird’ things at The Underground Club…
I’ve seen it all and more, but I’m the sole of discretion. Our customers’ privacy is paramount.
Have you got anything in the pipeline you can tell us about?
We’re launching a special once a month one at The Underground Club on the first Thursday of the month. It’s a Come to Daddy Retro night that, musically, will offer a 70s and 80s vibe. Meanwhile, the Halloween Launch night for Paunchy on Saturday 29th October.
