Dolf Dietrich is one of today’s ‘Top Daddies of Porn’. QXMEN: You and Hugh Hunter make a hot couple! How long have you guys been together and how did you meet?
Dolf Dietrich: I’d been aware of Hugh’s work in the porn biz for a while and we’d been circling each other in the industry all of last year. We were finally cast together by Lucas Entertainment for a massive shoot involving about 12 porn stars over a six day period on Fire Island, New York. I should say, we were cast during the same shoot period, however we did not have a scene together. It ended up being better this way, as we were able to get to know each other a bit during the madness of the shoot and sneak away to each other’s hotel rooms for cuddles and long make out sessions. We’ve been dating since September, and we both feel incredibly lucky to have met each other. We are VERY smitten and the sex is mind-bending!
Do you get the opportunity to work together?
YES! We are very in-synch when it comes to our passion and drive for being the best we can be in the industry. We also LOVE sex and showing off! Thus far, we have shot three scenes together, and have several more booked over the coming months. Our first scene was for Maverick Men. It was incredibly electric and the company gave it one if the most titillating titles in my repertoire to date, ‘500 Pounds of Muscle Sex’. We both love to perform live shows (it’s our favourite part of the business) and we’re looking forward to our debut together.
You’re performing at this month’s Hard On, what else have you got planned while you’re in London?
I arrive in London on the 15th but quickly jet off to Antwerp on the 16th to headline at the Alpha Club’s Red & Blue Party that evening. I come back to London on Sunday and will be filming most of the week with Matthias von Fistenberg for Dark Alley Media. You have an amazing physique, but to get it you’ve had to endure much more than just a strict gym regime…
Thank you! I was born with a condition called Pectus Excavatum, also known as Sunken Chest Syndrome. My mother had the option to have it surgically repaired when I was about six years old but she chose to not put me through the heavy surgery as the doctors at the time said it was fairly cosmetic. Little did she know my aspirations to become a huge internationally known porn star. It wasn’t until the age of 35 when I was living in NYC and working in corporate, yet very compassionate, publishing company who gave me the time off to get the reparative surgery which I fought tooth and nail with the insurance company to get covered (to this day I’m still amazed they covered the $50,000 cost!) Almost ten years later, and after thousands of hours at the gym, you can’t really get me to keep my clothes on!
If you could direct a scene in a porn film and cast the other performers, who would you choose and what would happen?
Well, I would cast my incredibly sexy boyfriend Hugh Hunter, that is a given. I have always wanted to visit Greece and film there, so if I had an unlimited budget we would be filming incredible orgies in a villa overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Usually, I am known for my hardcore nature (leather and kink) however, in this scenario I would love to bring together the beauty of nature and men in a very artistic way.
So, what have you been working on lately?
I just moved back to New York City from a very small seaside town (called Provincetown) and I’m taking advantage of every opportunity the city is offering me! I’ve been filming non-stop, go-go dancing and stripping at events and clubs and planning several shoots and live shows with Hugh Hunter booked across the U.S.A. And what have you got lined up in 2016?
I’m in the midst of planning another trip to Europe in April with my boyfriend Hugh Hunter. This time we’ll be going to Spain, (Barcelona and Madrid) for some holiday time but also filming for several studios and performing live shows. You’ll be seeing many more film releases from me as I filmed a lot of content this year which is being edited now and prepped for release.
What would you say is the best and the worst thing about being a porn star?
The best part of being a porn star is really the travel and getting to meet interesting people. Also, I’m not going to lie, I LOVE the attention and I get to have sex with some of the hottest men in the world. So at a base level, that’s very exciting. The worst thing is also sometimes the traveling, and by that I mean actually the ACT of getting ‘there’. I have spent so much time in airports last year. It can become frustrating… And the food is usually rubbish.
What’s been the highlight of your porn career?
I have had two major highlights that I will always remember and, of course, they both involve men. I met my last major boyfriend on set on my birthday in June 2014, Drew Sebastian. We were together for a little over a year, and we made some very special memories. I will always wish him the best and was lucky to have had that time with him. The other and more prominent highlight was meeting and falling in love with Hugh Hunter. We are a match made in heaven.
What ambitions do you have for your porn career?
I am doing exactly what I want to be doing in my career at the moment. I would LOVE more European exposure, and to travel and film in more exotic places. I would also like to win some major Porn Awards this year to be honest!
Is there anything you won’t do for the cameras?
There’s a certain company which I believe uses actual drug use in their scenes. I have filmed for them before but have never been asked to inject, snort or smoke anything for a scene. I would never do that on camera, or off. I don’t use drugs (the heavy ones anyways).
What turns Dolf Dietrich on?
That’s a trick question! Dolf is a character. But, of course, there is an overlap of sexuality for my real self and Dolf. In my personal life, intimacy, kissing and love are my favourite turn ons. If the world was going to end tomorrow what would you rush out and do?
I would call the people I love and tell them how much they had meant to me over the years and tell them I hoped I see them in the afterlife, if there is one. Then I would fuck my boyfriend silly. I’d probably cry a bunch too, since the world is ending and that is a pretty heavy scenario. Since I live in NYC I probably wouldn’t be rushing anywhere as I am sure the city would be a shit show… No really, I hope this doesn’t happen before my live show at Hard On on the 23rd, it would be a shame for my U.K. fans to miss out on it!
Any advice for guys thinking about getting into the porn industry?
Be professional. Be persistent. Market yourself as if you are already a star. Be humble and kind to people in the industry, it will be duly noted. Go to the gym and take care of your body. Be charming and sweet to your fans, and aggressive when it comes to business… Don’t let anyone take advantage of you.
