FETISH WEEK LONDON 2012

09-15 July: Thousands of guys descended on the capital last month for the UK’s largest all-male fetish event, Recon’s third annual Fetish Week London, and QXMEN went to at all the main parties…

With over 50 parties taking place across London, there were sexy fetish boys and men all over town, and the action-packed seven days of kink, dance and sleaze officially kicked off with a Welcome Drinks at Eagle London in Vauxhall, the capital’s sleazy gay village.

Later that evening it was the first of the official parties, the Sports Cruise Party at the Hoist, which attracted a hot crowd of guys in sports kit who partied hard until 4am! On Friday night it was Nexus Black Exxtreme – The Berlin Party at Hidden, which had a strict dress code of black gear only.

There was no confusion about the dress code at Saturday afternoon’s official party, Skinheads, and Eagle London was awash with bleachers and boots. That night, Recon presented the official main party of Fetish Week London, Full Fetish.

The club Fire was transformed into London’s largest ever fetish playground and, despite our initial worries that if the guys at Recon could pull it off, they did – spectacularly and it was an amazing party that will, no doubt, go down in clubbing history!

After just a few hours sleep, on Sunday afternoon we headed to the Rubber Gear Party at The Hoist and mingled with a truly international crowd of rubber perverts and latex pigs. By Sunday evening we should’ve been flagging but wanted to hook up with the horny fetish guys at the official closing party, Deconstruction which was at the Hoist, continuing on after the Rubber Gear Party, and boy, were we glad we did…

It was the perfect end to a perfect week of fetish, dance and sleaze!

Speaking to QXMEN, Antoin, Recon Events Manager, said, “Putting the event together and coordinating everything is a huge challenge, but I’m enjoying it more and more. It’s great to see soooo many guys out – very hot – and up for it too.

I chatted with a group of guys that came from Australia, a number of Americans and even a guy that came from Japan. Our aim is to make Fetish Week London a destination event and the success of this year’s event shows us that we’re heading in the right direction. Plans for FWL 2013 are already under way!”
