The Grabby Awards ceremony is always a lavish event and was once again hosted by outrageous porn director Chi Chi LaRue and cabaret star Honey West, while hot porn stars Tony Buff, Dean Monroe and Shane Frost were on hand as co-hosts.
The annual awards give porn stars and directors the opportunity to pat each other on the back and celebrate their achievements and hundreds of big names along with gay porn enthusiasts were at the glittering event.
With too many award categories to name check every winner, here’s QXMEN’s round up of the big winners.
One of the major players in the industry, Raging Stallion Studios, took home the most awards on the night with a total of five in the bag.
This year it was the turn of the guys who work behind the camera to be commended with Tony DiMarco awarded Best Director for the epic Brutal 1 & 2 which also won Best Videography.
Bren Wyson won Best Supporting Actor for his role in the movie too while Steamworks won the top accolade in the Best Ethnic category.
Jet Set Men’s Getting Levi’s Johnson took home three awards for Best Comedy, Best Screenplay and Best Art Direction, while COLT Buckshot’s Lotus scooped two, namely for Benjamin Bradley and Brian Hanson’s performances, bagging the studio Best Duo and the fiercely contended Hottest Rimming.
One of the few European studios to be nominated in the U.S. dominated award show was BelAmi and the studio picked up Best European Theme Site and Best International Movie for Too Big To Fail. Channel 1 Releasing’s pocket rocket Brent Everett did the studio proud by winning Best Actor for his role in Grand Slam.
Sexy Brent also shared the crown for Performer of the Year together with delicious hunk Samuel Colt.
Unfortunately, we don’t have enough column inches here to list the winners of every category but here’s three that deserve a mention.
Dominic Pacifico, Spencer Reed and Alexsander Freitas won Best Three Way for their performance in Mustang’s Adrenaline, Hot House Video’s Loading Zone got Best All Sex Movie and the gorgeous Angelo Marconi (opposite) won Hottest Bottom.
