19/09/2015: Last month, Europe’s biggest bear club, XXL, reached the grand old age of 15 and QXMEN joined hundreds of beefy bears, tattooed hunks, muscle studs and everything in between at their attitude free birthday bear bash!
Those guys at XXL sure know how to put on a damn fine birthday celebration!
Not only was there copious amounts of drinking, dancing and debauchery, they managed to put on an all singing all dancing show starring singer, performer and Timelord Dr Woof, who came dressed in a nun’s habit with a flashing crucifix around his neck, and Rotherham’s least celebrated daughter, the self-deprecating Myra Dubois, and they even served up a delicious finger food buffet of crab and cracked black pepper sandwiches, mature Cheddar and caramelised onion Kettle Chips, donuts, croissants and Danish pastries…
You’ve got to love those bears. They don’t half know how to put on a tasty spread!
A big fat happy birthday XXL… Here’s to the next 15 bear-licious years!
