07/02/2015: The annual Mr Hoist Contest, sponsored by Rubber and powered by, is now one of the most high profile of the many ‘Mister’ contests that take place in cities the world over.

So it came as no surprise that organisers of this year’s event had to restrict entrants to just ten when over 20 guys wanted to compete! Both of the Hoist’s cavernous arches were filled to capacity with hot leather daddies, fit young studs in leather and rubber, along with skins and sports guys, all there to choose their ideal Mr Hoist who would ultimately represent the UK at this year’s IML (International Mr Leather) in Chicago.

The contest quickly became a three horse race when a trio of hunks grabbed the audience’s attention early on, and it was a 38 year-old hunk called Baz who took first prize, beating off Mikey and Luke, and left the club that night £1,000 richer! Runners-up Mikey and Luke didn’t fare too badly either, winning cash and vouchers from sponsors, Rubber. We found out that Bas, the newly crowned Mr Hoist 2015, likes leather, fetish and sub/dom play and his favourite item of fetish gear is a leather dog collar. “I’m looking forward to representing the Hoist in 2015. It’s a very sexy fetish club and I love it… You can always hook up with a hot stud here and have a good time!”

We caught up with the Hoist’s Unkut Kurt a few days after the event.  “Wow! That was a mind-blowing party. The testosterone levels were extremely high and I have never seen so many dressed up, buffed up horny studs in one place. Best of all; the brand new Bar Berlin next door proved an absolute knock out too! Big Saturday night fetish parties are back at the Hoist… and they are back with a bang! Next stop is Saturday March 7th when it’s Hoist Black. It’s my favourite with an ultra strict leather/ rubber only dress code. Plus our new invite-only kink parties have taken off in a huge way. Keep an eye out for more details and how to get an invite!”
