14/09/2013: It might have been nippy outside, but on Saturday September 14th it was a little bit more hot and steamy than usual inside SweatBox Soho. Why? Because owners, Mark and Jason, had invited a few of their closest friends over to mark the fifth birthday of Soho’s only 24-hour gay gym and sauna with an intimate and low-key affair… Yeah right!
Upstairs, they’d transformed the gymnasium into a pumping nightclub, complete with licensed bar and hot DJs Brent Nicholls and John McHugh, and the place was packed with some of Soho’s finest totty sporting little more than towels and a smile.
And if that wasn’t enough, they also shipped in a truckload of hot porn stars from UK studio, Alphamales.com (we spotted Adam Dacre, Jonny Kingdom, Justin King, Darius Ferdynand and Kayden Gray)! Downstairs in the sauna and steam room complex, guys celebrated the birthday in true Soho style beneath the bubbles and in the maze of private cabins at one of SweatBox Soho’s legendary foam parties.
And after we’d had our fill of dancing upstairs and fooling around downstairs, we grabbed some refreshments and caught up with some mates in the chilled out lounge area, before heading back out into the cold night air for some more fun in Soho’s bars.
