12/10/2013: Once again Suzie Krueger and Rob Rutt scored a blinder with this year’s Hotwired, London’s monumental underground leather and rubber party.
Ewer Street Car Park’s 15,000 sq feet were separated into three areas – the chill out zone, the dance floor and the play area – although it seemed that wherever you turned there were guys, and groups of guys, who’d obviously got lost on their way to the playroom and were getting into the Hotwired spirit in all areas of the club.
In Hotwired’s designated play area an array of horny equipment had been shipped in and was being put to good use by everyone. And joining this year’s obligatory derelict car was a white van, complete with not just a mattress in the back, but when we poked our head through the back doors, we found it had it’s very own ‘white van man’ inside too! We’re wondering how they’re going to trump that next year? Park up a burnt out National Express coach! Hmmm, actually, just think of the orgies you could have on it!
It’s so depressing to think that we’ll have to wait a whole year until the next Hotwired. But we suppose it’s true what they say that all good things come to those who wait… and Hotwired is truly a very very good thing.
